Terms for Skolkoll
The service
Skolkoll is published by Uddens Sjögård AB, org. no. 556940-4659. The app helps guardians get an overview of their children’s school week and motivate the children with points and rewards. It also counts down to the holidays and has crafts and games for the holidays. Everything you do in the app is stored on your phone.
Price and subscription
Skolkoll costs SEK 99 per year and is bought as a subscription in the App Store. New users can try it free for a week. The subscription renews automatically every year until you cancel it, at least 24 hours before the period ends. You cancel it in Settings on your iPhone under your name and Subscriptions. Apple handles the payment, and Apple’s terms for purchases in the App Store also apply.
The subscription covers the whole family with Apple’s Family Sharing. The children’s phones that are connected with a QR code cost nothing, and the example family in the app is always free.
Using the app
- The app is for guardians. The children use it with your permission, and you are responsible for how they use it.
- You are responsible for keeping your PIN secret, so that only adults can approve homework and rewards.
Data from SchoolSoft
Skolkoll is an independent service and is not affiliated with SchoolSoft AB. The app shows what you yourself are entitled to see in SchoolSoft. We do our best to make sure the data is correct, but SchoolSoft and the school always take precedence over Skolkoll. Check important information there.
The week’s summary
On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, the week’s summary is written by Apple’s AI on the phone. It may contain errors or leave things out, and it does not replace information from the school.
School holidays
The holiday dates in the app come from the municipalities’ websites and may change. They do not necessarily apply to an independent school. The school’s own information always applies, and you can change the dates in the app.
Crafts and games
The crafts are suggestions. Some steps require an adult, for example when you use scissors, a knife or the oven.
Rewards and grade money
Rewards, point levels and amounts for grade money are the family’s own agreements. The app only keeps track of them and does not pay anything out.
Your data is on the phone
We store no data about you, so we cannot restore anything if the phone breaks or goes missing. Do save a backup under Settings, Backup. You can always fetch the school timetable again from SchoolSoft.
Ending
You can delete everything in the app at any time under Settings, Delete all data, or delete the app. A subscription is not ended by deleting the app. You cancel it in Settings on your iPhone under your name and Subscriptions.
Changes and law
We announce changes to the terms in the app before they take effect. Swedish law applies.
